Lily and her place are amazing. It is in a perfect central location in Georgetown where you can easily access all the best food, cafes, sites. Right on Armenian street you feel as if you are living right in the center of the action. There is a full kitchen, however we did not use it too much as there are so many food options close by! The house is amazingly decorated to make you feel like you are back in time when the heritage houses were in full swing. If you want to experience Penang while you are here this is a great place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable and AC/WiFi worked great. Lily is super responsive and always keen to help. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique Penang vibe.

We had a great time staying in Lilly's George Town "shop house" due to it being so close to everything going on in George Town...our first night in we walked a block down the street to all the evening food street vendors for dinner and a beer. It is a very impressive house with plenty of history, plenty of room and lots of amenities. Lilly greeted us at the house upon our arrival and even had water, juice and yogurt in the refrigerator for us. We would definitely stay at Lilly's shop house again on our next visit to George Town - 5+++ stars!!!

This house is so spectacular! The location, gorgeous interior, and Lily's expert advice on Georgetown and Penang made our 5 night stay very memorable. We arranged to go on a guided street food tour with Lily, which I highly recommend as she knows all the best hawker stalls and can answer any questions you might have about Penang. I've stayed at many Airbnbs in many countries and this is by far my favorite.

This shophouse is fantastic!! Very well stocked, spacious and comfortable, it's a great place to come back to after a day of visiting historic Georgetown. The bed and bedding are great, the kitchen and living area so spacious, one feels very at ease at Ah Tong's! Lily was helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, always available and extremely responsive to questions. We loved our stay here and would happily return for more great food and the comfort of this flat. Great street food options are right outside your doorstep. I can’t recommend this apartment highly enough - staying here offers a first-hand experience of a culture you won’t find in many other parts of the world, or for many more years to come. We left early as once we got to know the area we decided that we wanted to spend time out of the UNESCO District and along the waterfront with some views. We chose to come to Penang because of all the old heritage buildings so there was not a better fitting place to stay than Lily's. This property is an authentic and charming old shophouse fitted out with some convenient amenities like a very spacious and modern kitchen, air conditioners and a washing machine.
